Awards
Introduction
Leo Awards are awards presented to Leos (both Alpha and Omega) by their district for a certain fiscal year. To qualify for the awards, Leos must fulfill certain requirements. Award applications must be submitted by the Leo President or Secretary to their respective District Chairperson (DC) for Leo Clubs and Regional Committee Chairperson for Leo Clubs (RCC Region 4). Leo Awards are seperated into three categories :
MERIT meaning the Leo has fulfilled the basic requirements to qualify for the award (somewhere around top 20).
OUTSTANDING meaning the Leo has fulfilled the basic requirements to qualify for the award and has performed well at club, region and district level (somewhere around top 10).
TOP meaning the Leo has fulfilled the basic requirements to qualify for the award and has performed extremely well at club, region and district level (the most outstanding/the highest achievement for any category).
